Daredjan “Baya” Kakouberi

Daredjan “Baya” Kakouberi is a concert pianist, educator, and Artistic Director of the Blue Candlelight Music Series in Dallas.

Her work bridges classical tradition with contemporary artistic dialogue, combining performance, teaching, and curated concert experiences.

Based in Dallas, she serves on the faculty of Dallas College while maintaining an active performance schedule.

Her recent projects include serving as producer for a Dallas Symphony Orchestra–sponsored recording of George Tsontakis’ Violin Concerto with the Colombian National Orchestra.
